Silk Lotus HH6008

A PU lotus at 70 cm with petals layered from a tight centre outward in graduated sizes. PU is the right material for lotus because the petal is thick, smooth and slightly translucent at the edge in life — a fabric lotus loses that and ends up looking like a water lily made of cloth.

Lotus sells on a different calendar to Western flowers: hotel lobbies and spa interiors order it year-round for Zen and wellness schemes, while event demand concentrates around Vesak, Mid-Autumn and Diwali. Green is the unopened-bud tone used as a structural element; the pinks and white are the ceremonial colors.
