Silk Iris 3 Heads – YWKX6005

A three-head silk iris spray with the heads staged from open bloom to bud. Iris structure is the difficult part — three upright standards, three drooping falls — and staging the heads means the stem shows the flower at more than one point in its opening, which is how it appears in a garden.

Two blues in the range, which is the point of iris: it is one of the very few genuinely blue garden flowers, and that makes it valuable in palettes that need blue without dyed stems. Yellow gives the classic bearded iris, white goes into formal and memorial work, and pink and red are styled versions.
