Silk Green Button Mum – LC2000

A green button mum — a dense, tightly-packed green ball head on a 65 cm stem. The appeal is entirely textural: it is a flower that reads as moss or foliage rather than as a bloom, which lets it sit in an arrangement as a structural green element while still having the round form of a flower.

Green button mums are a designer staple in modern wedding and event work, used to break up the outline of an arrangement built from soft-petalled flowers. They also carry commercial interior work on their own, massed in a low bowl as a single-flower arrangement. One colorway, because the point of the flower is the green.
