Silk Butterfly Peony – AHHY5000

A butterfly peony — the single-flowered type with a ring of broad petals around an open golden centre, rather than the dense ruffled ball most artificial peonies copy. It is a completely different flower visually, and one that almost no artificial range carries.

Single peonies are used where the dense form would be too heavy: garden-style arrangements, botanical and editorial styling, and schemes built on open flowers with visible centres. Two blues in the range take it further from realism and into styled work, where the shape matters more than the species.
