PU Anthurium – SX2000

An anthurium in PU, which is the right material for this flower — the spathe is a single broad waxy surface, and PU reproduces the gloss and the slight ripple across it in a way fabric simply cannot. The spadix is moulded separately and set at an angle rather than straight up, matching how the flower actually presents. At 61 cm the stem suits tall narrow vessels without needing support.

Anthurium is a tropical and modern-minimal flower, so it sells to a different buyer than roses do: hotel lobbies, spas, corporate reception desks and high-end restaurants, usually in green or white for a restrained look and red or burgundy where the brief calls for a single strong color. It is also a standard component in Hawaiian and tropical event work, where fresh stems are expensive to fly in.
