Plastic Leaf – XL2008

A 96 cm leaf branch for structure work — the piece that goes in first and holds the shape everything else is built around. Leaves are coated rather than printed, so the veining catches light in bands the way a real leaf does instead of reading as a flat green cut-out. The wire spine runs to the tip, which means the branch can be arched over a table run or bent back to sit flat against a wall installation.

Greenery is bought by the carton, not the stem, and almost always ahead of the flowers. Event companies use long leaf branches for arch and ceiling frames; interior stylists use them in floor vessels where a plant would need maintenance. Because it is a single green colorway, this is a stocking line rather than a seasonal one — buyers reorder it on a fixed cycle rather than by trend.
