Silk Lilac – TJXH6008

A lilac stem — a conical panicle packed with small four-petalled florets. The density is everything: lilac reads as a solid cone of color from a distance and resolves into hundreds of tiny flowers close up, and a version with visible gaps between florets fails at both ranges.

Lilac has a short, intense fresh season and a long-standing following, which is a good combination for an artificial version. It goes into spring wedding work, high-end retail bunches and interior arrangements. The eight colorways stretch well past the natural purple and white into styled territory.
